Domain Controller
Overview
Section titled “Overview”dc.core.lef is the Windows domain controller for the core.lef Active Directory forest (LEF domain) in the EVEO private cloud.
Purpose
Section titled “Purpose”- Provide AD authentication and directory services for internal Windows workloads.
- Support identity sync to Microsoft Entra via Entra Connect (see Entra Connect (AD sync)).

Known risks / failure modes
Section titled “Known risks / failure modes”- AD/DNS issues can cascade into widespread login failures.
- Not on VPN → RDP/admin access is unreachable.
