Deployment
Deployment can refer to:
- The act of releasing a version of software into an environment, and/or
- The mapping of software (systems/containers) onto the infrastructure nodes where it runs.
In architecture documentation, the deployment viewpoint helps answer “where does it run?” without losing the higher-level model.
