Collaborators
This section documents how we work with collaborators at LEF: expectations, role profiles, and collaboration principles.
Role profiles include the evaluation rubric (signals) and red flags for the role.
Role profiles
Section titled “Role profiles” Solution Engineer Role profile: requirements clarity → modeling → delivery.
Trainees Onboarding, access, and the training track.
Principles (what we expect)
Section titled “Principles (what we expect)”- Thinking comes before skills — we value reasoning and system understanding; tools can be learned.
- Autonomy with ownership — you manage dependencies, communicate early, and own outcomes end-to-end.
- Culture is architecture — culture is the system of decisions, feedback loops, and transparency that shapes behavior.
- No functional legacy in people — we challenge rigid mental models and inherited rules that no longer fit.
- Human-centered, respectful directness — we keep feedback kind and clear, and we address issues early so we can learn and deliver effectively.
What this means in practice
Section titled “What this means in practice”- Prefer written context over implicit knowledge: assumptions, constraints, and acceptance criteria.
- Ask early questions and clarify before building; rework is always more expensive later.
- Prefer strong defaults; avoid one-off exceptions that become permanent.
- Treat feedback as normal and expected in a remote-first setup.
